Our client GEROA-EPSV Pentsioak has obtained the recognition of the European IPE awards of 2017, in which it has won the prize "Best Multi-company Pension Fund" and finalist in the category of "Best Investment Strategy of a European Pension Fund. " GEROA competed with European funds that manage a heritage even 10 times higher and have a longer trajectory.
In GEROA-EPSV, there are more than 10,000 companies from 20 branches of activity with 100,000 employees and 250,000 members, managing assets that reach 1,800 million euros.
The jury of the awards, held in Prague, highlighted the "very good financial performance" of Geroa, which has "a long history", as well as its "impressive sectoral coverage and integration of environmental, social and good governance criteria (ASG ) ".
The IPE awards are an annual event where the largest pension funds in Europe are presented. These are the most recognized awards in the continent's employment pension fund industry.
In 2017, 440 applications were received at IPE in 42 categories of pension funds that collectively manage more than two trillion euros. These entities also represent more than 90 million people in 24 countries across Europe.
For Geroa, this award means a recognition of the work carried out, as well as his long career and prolix trajectory. It should also be remembered that Geroa Pentsioak EPSV was already awarded in the category of Best pension fund in 2014 and finalist in 2015.
